Temburong National Park is the only park in Brunei that was taken under the sultan’s protection in 1990. A no-logging law was implemented to preserve the unique beauty of Borneo’s rainforest. The territory of the park is 550 square kilometers; despite only 1% of the territory is open for tourism. The rainforest is home to many unique animals, birds and over 40 species of butterflies.
07:30 Meet with the guide at the hotel reception. Leave to Temburong Park.
09:00 Arrive at the lodge, where tea will be offered and there will be a safety briefing.
09:30 Departure by traditional long boats to Ulu Temburong National Park. The park area is carefully guarded to preserve it for future generations. Ulu Temburong Park is also used for plant and animal research.
10:00 Arrival at Ulu Temburong National Park, registration. A unique walk along the bridges suspended in the treetops, which will improve your mood and charge you with adrenaline. Walk to a waterfall and swim in a rainforest stream.
12:30 Return by boat to the lodge. Kayaking is also possible, but prior reservation is required.
13:30 A local lunch.
14:00 Free time.
15:00 Return to the hotel. The end of the tour.
