09.00 Meeting with the guide at the hotel reception. Departure to the bird park, which is only a 10-minute drive from the city center. The territory of the bird park is 8.5 hectares, which is part of the 60-hectare Lake Gardens, which were established by the British in 1880. About 3,000 birds live in the park, 90% of them are local, and 10% are imported from different countries – New Zealand, Australia, the Netherlands, Thailand, Indonesia. The park is divided into four zones, each of which is home to different birds: zone 1 and 2 are free-flying zones, zone 3 is for hornbills, and zone 4 has parrots and birds of prey in cages, in this zone you can take pictures with parrots and feed them . The main feature of the park is the free flight of zone 1 and 2 birds. Excellent conditions have been created for the birds here, but visitors have the opportunity to see them very close, even approach and feed them.
10.30 There is a butterfly park nearby. The tropical climate is very suitable for butterflies, so about 1200 species live in Malaysia. The Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park is one of the largest in the world. There are about 5,000 butterflies in this park, which feel great among blooming flowers and trees.
