08.00 meeting with the driver in the hotel lobby in Kuala Lumpur. Departure for Cameron Highlands by road, the journey will take approximately 3.5 hours.
Cameron Highlands is the largest mountain resort in Malaysia. Boasting a refreshingly mild climate and breathtaking mountain views, the region is made up of undulating valleys dotted with tea plantations, terraced flower gardens and a strawberry park. Highlands Cameron is a leading producer of fresh flowers and tea in Malaysia.
11.30 arrival at the Strawberry Park Resort hotel, check-in, luggage storage, lunch at a local cafe (at your own expense).
12.30 meeting with a local guide in the hotel lobby, departure to the largest tea plantation in Southeast Asia with a total area of more than 300 hectares. BOH Tea Plantations was founded in 1929 by British businessman J. A. Russell during the British colonial era. During this excursion you will have the opportunity to visit a tea factory, a tea shop, and enjoy the fresh mountain air and panoramic views of tea plantations.
14.00 heading to the local butterfly park, home to rare species such as the Rajah Brooks and the Golden Wings bird. In addition to butterflies, you can see various insects, scorpions and snakes in the park.
14.45 visit one of the strawberry farms in the Highlands. The local climate here creates favorable conditions for growing strawberries all year round. During your visit to the farm, you will have the opportunity to taste homemade strawberry jam and strawberry milkshake.
16.00 return to the hotel, accommodation, free time.
07.00 Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out from the hotel, baggage storage.
08.45 meeting with the driver in the hotel lobby. Departure to the village in a four-wheel drive SUV. The off-road journey will take approximately 45 minutes. In the village, you will be joined by a local guide who will show you the blooming Rafflesia, the largest flower in the world.
Rafflesia has no seasonality and blooms for only 4 days, so seeing a flower in the wild is a great success. Local residents find the future Rafflesia bud in the jungle and protect it in every possible way for 9 months until it blooms.
The trek through the jungle to the Rafflesia bloom site can take 2-4 hours (round trip). On your way back, you will have the opportunity to take a dip in the waterfall to refresh yourself after your tiring trek through the jungle.
12.00 Visit to an Orang Asli Aboriginal village. The Orang Asli are considered the indigenous and very first inhabitants of Malaysia, they belong to the Negrito group, whose burials date back 10 thousand years. The Orang Asli are hunters and gatherers. The people of this tribe believe that only animals living above the ground are suitable for consumption. They hunt squirrels, birds and monkeys, using bows and arrows and blowguns for hunting. A blowgun is a long cane-like tube that is used to shoot poisoned arrows. Arrows are sharpened thin sticks, similar to darts, the tip of which is moistened with poison. During your visit to the village you will gain skills in shooting blowguns.
13.00 return to the hotel, lunch at a local cafe (at your own expense).
15.00 meeting with the driver in the hotel lobby. Departure to Kuala Lumpur.
