Labuan Federal Territory – One of the three federal territories in Malaysia that is popular for its duty free shops. Only 100,000 people live on the island, but there are many migrant workers who work in the oil industry, so intimate services are also available here. On weekends, this is a popular hangout for Bruneians. Here you can buy chocolate, perfumery, alcoholic beverages at attractive prices.
There are four diving sites on the territory of the marine park, where there are sunken ships on the seabed: the American Wreck, the Australian Wreck, the Blue Water Wreck and the Cement Wreck. American Wreck – an American shipwreck intended for diving by experienced divers. The size of the wreck is 184 * 33 * 9 m. This is a US warship that was built in 1943. It sank in 1945 and is located SE of Rusukan kecil Island.
Australian Wreck – This is an Australian ship that carried passengers and cargo. Its size is 85 * 12 * 6 m. The ship was built in 1900 and in 1942 the ship was captured by the Japanese and sunk. This sunken wreck lies SW of Rusukanbesar Island. Blue Water Wreck – This wreck is for advanced divers. Its size is 80 * 12 * 6 m. The ship was sunk in 1981 to the NW of Kurman Island. Cement Wreck – The sunken ship is suitable for inexperienced divers. Its size is 92 * 15 * 7 m. The ship sank in 1980 when it was transporting cement.
